Leica CM1860 cryostat

The cryostat has a modern microtome, with fixed knife holder base and adjustable anti-rolling glass incorporated. By rotating the handwheel, the orientable specimen head is narrowed to the knife. The stainless-steel freezing chamber has a freeze bar with 10 positions (for 2 of them the quick-freeze option is available) and a chamber temperature that can reach -35°C.

Section thickness setting range: 1 - 100 um

Horizontal specimen feed: 25mm + 3mm

Vertical specimen stroke: 59mm ± 1mm
